PROCAP Ltd was founded in 1963 by Mr. Maurice Magien, a man of principles and great values. Eager to share the knowledge acquired in France at EUGENE PERMA, known at the time as PERMA of PARIS, he left his native France with his wife and daughter to establish himself in Canada, in the province of Quebec, more precisely in Montreal.

Upon arrival, Mr. Magien starts his new business, offering a wide range of different PERMA of PARIS products to the hairdressing professionals, who quickly discover the exceptional quality and cosmetics attributes of this brand. The list of customers expands daily as the business is quickly gaining in popularity. Gradually, he surrounds himself with a team who shares the company’s values, contributing to its growth, both in Quebec and in Canada. Respecting the hairdressing industry, its professionals and its shopkeepers, he always maintained a policy of exclusivity toward the capillary professionals practicing their art in the salon.

Today, PROCAP Ltd. enjoys a remarkable market presence in Canada, coast to coast, and pursues the work of its founder, dedicated to the exclusivity of the brand EUGENE PERMA to the hairdressing professionals.

Since 1918

The company is founded in 1918 by Eugène Sutter, a hairstylist and hairpiece manufacturer. It develops on the professional hairstyling market and creates three establishments in Paris, London, and Vienna. This international development draws strength from the invention of the “Eugène permanent wave”, known as “the perm”. Present in 56 countries, EUGENE PERMA Professionnel is a “Made in France” success.
